You Are A Warrior !!

Below is an Article written by Cal Pierce, Int’l Assn of Healing Rms Director :

YOU ARE A WARRIOR !

When we are called by God, we are called into battle as His army. Our God refers to Himself as the Lord of Hosts. The Hebrew meaning of hosts is “an army organized for war, or assembled to fight.” Exo 15:3 declares, “The Lord is a warrior.” In Ps 18:34 we are told, “He trains my hands for battle.” We are called to fight because we have an enemy who wants to destroy everything God creates.

We must not become passive. When we allow the enemy to wear us down by our circumstances, we become fearful & lose our hope. When we lose hope, we become weak because we try to fight in our own strength rather than in God’s. In 1 Pet 1:13 we are told to “gird our minds for action.” We must constantly feed on God’s truth that strengthens us to overcome the enemy. The way to overcome the enemy is to be overcome by our God. We cannot get away from the battle because in the world we will always have tribulation. “But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.” (Rm 8:37).

How do we overcome our enemy ? We must first renew our mind according to Rm 12:2. Then we put on the full armour of God so that we can stand firm against the enemy according to Eph 6:11. Notice we put on God’s armor, not ours. Our God is light & we put on the armor of light that exposes what is hidden by darkness (Rm 13:12). In God, the weapons of our warfare are mighty to the tearing down on strongholds. We do not war according to the flesh or natural realm. We must war in the spirt where our weapons are divinely powerful to destroy every fortress (2 Cor 10:3-4).

In the Kingdom ware, we don’t face our enemy, we face our God. What you face is what you will eventually embrace.

James 4:7 says, “Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil & he will flee from you.”

Notice that the degree of fleeing by the enemy is measured by the degree of submission to God. That’s because it is God’s power in us, not our power. What causes the enemy to flee isn’t when he sees us, it’s when he sees God in us. Our enemy knows that we have been given authority over all his power (Lk 10:19). The authority comes by the power of God in us; “It’s not I that lives, but He that lives in me.” As God’s warriors, we are strong in Him.

Eph 6:10 says, “Finally, be strong in the Lord & in the strength of His might.” True freedom comes when we realize that the battle is won, not in our strength, but in His strength. As Christians we must realize that we are warriors. We can’t run from this fact. We are called into God’s army & equipped to fight.

In Rm 9:17 we are told, “For this very purpose I raised you up, to demonstrate my power in you, & that My name might be proclaimed throughout the whole earth.”

God not only gives us His power, but also His victory. How can we be losers when we have already won ? We overwhelmingly conquer through Him. This means that we gain decisive victory. The problem too many of us are having is that we aren’t winning because we aren’t fighting. In God’s army when you fight, you win. I don’t believe that when Jesus said, “Occupy,” He was referring to the pew !”

I had a great time of worship today!!

It was a great weekend worshipping the Lord!! I was on worship duty this week...

Even yesterday's practice was so annointing... this Sunday the worship ministry wanted to do something different... out of the "norm"...

This month is Worship Month for LSBC... I have been looking forward for a change in our corporate worship; I think we can do much "better" for the Lord - coz the Lord deserves our best worship for Him! Amen!

Worship is not about singing well, not about playing the instruments well, not about leading worship well, not about choosing the right songs, but it's about GIVING to the Lord our BEST!

Are we willing to PUT IN EFFORT to worship the Lord even when we "don't feel like it"? Jesus never thought twice about sacrificing Himself on the cross for us, what's that little so-called effort in us to offer our best worship for Him?

Shall we open our arms and lift up our hands to SURRENDER TO GOD in our worship to Him... to tell Him God, we want you, we want a hug from You so much...

Shall we NOT RUSH THROUGH the momentum of singing.. but give time to the Holy Spirit to mingle among us!! I enjoy closing my eyes during worship and waiting for God to show Himself before me... I just enjoy that moment, waiting... waiting... just please don't end the worship so soon, can't we wait a little longer...

This weekend I didn't have any problem with my ear block problem at all! Praise the Lord! Praise God for healing me of my ear block. And the Lord has annointed my throat so that I sang without difficulties of a dry throat. I still have that dry throat, but it just doesn't bother me at all during worship. It was as though at the moment I started singing, God placed oil in my throat and moisturised it. Ya, I'm convinced He did that!!

Thank u Lord! I wanna worship You more... I want to lift Your name on high! May Your name be glorified among all the nations... and everyone will come and kneel before You!

Hallelujah!!

We got back our money!! Thank u Jesus...

RE: Mar 18, 2006 post ... [ Thank u for Your mercy Lord Jesus ]

Remember I mentioned Keith and I dumped in a couple of thousands of dollars in some online autosurf business...

We never expected we would get back the money at all... although I did the least I could by calling up the credit card company two weeks ago and asking them if they could do something about it. I filled in a form as requested and waited...

I prayed..

Doubts did creep in my mind that I would never be able to get back our money...

But the Holy Spirit never fails to do His work in us... He kept reminding me that I were to have faith in God... although it seemed there was nothing much the credit card company could do.

And today, when I went online to pay my credit card bill, I SAW A CREDIT BALANCE on my card balance!!! And beside the balance, it reads: Amount we owe you!!!!

Oh, I could not believe my eyes... did I have my contact lens on?? Was I dreaming??

No, I wasn't! It was a balance due to me!! I got a refund of ALL the money I first lost. The credit card company somehow managed to make a chargeback!!

It's amazing!
It's a miracle!
It's God's grace and mercy on us!

Father, I am so so thankful to You...

I can't express enough my gratefulness to You...

I only know You love us so much!!

Thank You Lord for your mercy on us, again and again and again....

Thank You Lord Jesus!!

nothing is too trivial for our Lord to care....

I read the Our Daily Bread today and am very touched by it...

Many times I feel too afraid to ask God's favor on small matters.... maybe it's pride, maybe it's lack of confidence that God would care or have time for such trivial matters...

But today's reading assures me that indeed NOTHING IS TOO TRIVIAL FOR OUR LORD... Amen!! He cares about us... in every nitty gritty area of our lives..... I am so encouraged and I feel so loved by the Lord... Thank U Jesus!!!

Isaiah 49:13-18
13 Shout for joy, O heavens; rejoice, O earth; burst into song, O mountains! For the LORD comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.
14 But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, the Lord has forgotten me."
15 "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!
16 See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.
17 Your sons hasten back, and those who laid you waste depart from you.
18 Lift up your eyes and look around; all your sons gather and come to you. As surely as I live," declares the LORD, "you will wear them all as ornaments; you will put them on, like a bride.

Psalm 103:13 says As a father pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear Him.

"....as Psalm 103:13 reminds us, this is the response of love, both human and divine. .... God said that even though a mother may forget to have compassion on her child, the Lord never forgets His children (v15). God assured His people, "I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands" (v.16).

Such intimacy with God belongs to those who fear Him, and who rely on Him rather than on themselves. As that child with throbbing fingers ran freely to his mother, so may we run to God with our daily problems." -Our Daily Bread

Our compassionate God doesn't neglect others to respond to your concerns. He has limitless time and love for each of His children. No need is too trivial for Him. —Joanie Yoder

No heart too small, no world too wide, to feel the Master's touch;
Dear Lord of all, we give Thee thanks, for Thou hast sent so much. —Michael

I thank u God... for Your love for me... so tiny but You can see... so far but You can touch... my needs so small but You'd listen... o, how wonderful you are...

our first $79.56....

Hallelujah... we earned our first $ online!!

hahaha... I just can't help laughing and the smile on my face just won't go away.... haha :o)

We earned our first $79.56 online today!! Thank u Jesus! We praise Your name, Lord Jesus! Hallelujah!!

Keith my husband has been studying about online business opportunities since last year. After praying and waiting for God's confirmation for half a year, he finally decided to quit his job of 17 years from the airline and work full time doing online businesses.

It was a BIG move, and a BOLD move too.... because I was already out of job at then. But we decided to trust in the Lord for His provision; Keith had peace when he made that final decision, and he totally believed it is God's will... because God has continously assured him through many visions and signs!!

After serving his resignation notice, he starting working from home since October last year.

It has not been easy, because we are starting everything from scratch... but we always remind each other to hang on to God's promise that He will take care of the rest. We just needed to have the little faith in Him, and CONTINUE to have that faith in Him ALWAYS.

Honestly I did not think we are going to see any income in the first year... but Keith always looks at the positives. Nevertheless, after waiting for a few months and there was no results, he has started to feel a little down in spirit, though he perserveres on, never giving up!

And just 15 minutes ago, when he logged in to his online account, he saw $79.56 deposited into it!!! Yeah! Praise the Lord... God You are so good.... we know You are using this to boost our confidence again, to tell us so obviously that You are indeed there for us... Thank you Jesus!

Thank You Lord!
We are so so grateful....

My annual follow up at the hospital....

Went for my annual follow-up check up at Dr. V.J. Sethi's clinic at the National Cancer Centre.

Since my radio-theraphy treatment completed in Nov 1992, I have had to go through a lot of detailed scans, bloodtests, etc to ensure the cancer cells had been completely removed, and there will be no new growth, no recurrence.

Thank God these 14 years He has been protecting me from recurrence; NOT EVEN A CHANCE!!! I have heard enough sad stories of cancer relapsing within a year or two. I have always been thankful to God for His mercy and healing hands on me...

Because of God, I feel I have a stronger fighting spirit than any other people.

Because of God, I sense I have a stronger immunity system to resist anymore attack too!

Hahaha... viruses, you cannot come near me!!! There is no place for you in my body!!!

Amen!!

Dr. Sethi, as usual, patient and fatherly, always smiling and looking sincerely concern. After asking some questions, he put a scope into my nostrils... erhhhhh.... that was always very uncomfortable. Imagine the scope goes all the way through the nostril into the end of it, and then down towards the throat... Well, that way the doctor can see exactly what's going on in there :o)

He said my left side is clear, but right side there is some mucus, but he assured me it is not critical. He prescribed a medicine to be taken for 2 weeks and the mucus will be gone.

That's it! He said.

Thank you Lord for His continuous protection...

Our God is a Great God!!!

Thank you for Your mercy... Lord Jesus!!

I have been trying out online investments after attending a seminar in January. The speaker was sharing about depositing funds in autosurf sites who pay high returns in a short period of time, as short as 10 days.

After finding out further with the speaker, I gave it a try.

It was very exciting in the first attempt... especially within a short period of just 2 weeks, I received my returns, on paper only though, because I had not withdrawn it yet. Before all these happened, my husband and I agreed that we will not put in too much money at one time, in the beginning; we would give it a small try each time, as we knew there was definitely risk involved in such high return investments. But when we saw how soon the return surfaced and how high the return was, I guess at that time GREED crept into our minds.

Without thinking further, we made three more subsequent investments, involving in a couple of thousands dollars in all. We were so looking forward to the day of great "harvest". I even started telling a lot of friends about it. I wanted to share the good news and hoped they would benefit from it too.

However, it did not work the way we wished it to be. Before we even received our second investment return, we realised our funds were frozen!! To cut the long story short, we were not able to get back any of our investments at all, not to talk about the interests! While hoping the online disputes would be resolved soon, so that our funds would be released to us, we kind of accepted the fact that there is indeed little hope, after waiting for coming to two months now, for some good news but IN VAIN!

We felt so bad, so lousy, such a failure... this was our first time, and we had failed to obeyed God. We were too greedy! If we had stayed with our initial commitment that we would only invest bit by bit, and not got out of focus, we would not have lost so much money at one time. We asked for God's forgiveness... Father, we are so sorry, we have sinned against You; we had let greed controlled us! We repent before You. Please forgive us.

But Lord, we thank you for Your mercy upon us....

Looking back, if God had not allowed this to happen NOW, we would have caught up in this whole thing, I would have signed up more referrals under me; and I might have got more people into trouble.

"The mind of man plans his way; But the Lord directs his steps. - Proverbs 16:9 (NASB)

I am really thankful from the bottom of my heart. This was a good lesson to learn! And we thank God it's not such a painful one that we cannot bear.

Because our God is a merciful God!!
Thank You Lord... we cannot be more thankful!

God is good... all the time!!

So we went in to see Dr Gerald after a short wait. After asking my mom some quesitons, he told us that blood in the urine is a very common thing. And the fact that mom has high blood pressure makes it "reasonable" to have blood in the urine....

He did an ultrasound on her, sent her for 2 urine tests, and arrange her for an x-ray appointment 2 months later. We'll see him again in May to see the results.

We felt so relieved when we came out of the doctor's room. We are so grateful. Now we pray that the results will be negative, and she would not have to go for more tests.

Lord, we want to claim your promise that it is your desire to heal us.

In the scripture you said ....

"For I will restore you to health. And I will heal you of your wounds," - Jeremiah 30:17a

"Bless the Lord, o my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities; Who heals all your diseases." - Psalm 103:2-3
Thank you Jesus!

The Lord is good... He is our healer!!

Praise the Lord!!
Mom went for her regular checkup at the neighbourhood clinic 2 months ago, and was told she has blood in her urine. The doctor suspected there is kidney stone. So she was referred to the specialist at the national hospital.
Today I was there with her, at the Urology Centre at the hospital.
She has been praying... I have been praying... We believe it is God's desire to heal her. I have been praying for God to send her a good specialist, who would diagnose her accurately, that there is NO stone in her kidney, or wheresoever in her body. I just don't want anymore physical illness to come upon her. She had undergone a major operation on her spine 3 years ago, and I know she'd suffered a lot.

God has been good, giving her courage all these while to conquer her fear to see doctors. Whenever she is worried, she would pray and submit to the Lord her worries. And after that she would carry on what she is doing. She is active in church, she is in the church choir in the Chinese congregation. She practice with the choir every Sunday after service in the afternoon. She goes out with her church friends despite some discomfort on her back. She trusts the Lord will bless and protect her. She enjoys her life.... I am really thankful for that!

And I know the Lord will heal her of any stones... because He said in the bible,

"I Am The God That Healeth Thee"
I am the God that healeth thee
I am the Lord your healer
I sent My Word
And healed your disease
I am the Lord your healer
And we sing...
You are the Lord that healeth me
You are the Lord my Healer
You sent Your Word
And heal my disease
You are the Lord my Healer
Hallelujah!!
He is Jehova Rapha, our Healer!!!
Praise Him... Praise His holy name!!
We praise You Jesus!!

God answer prayers...!!!!

Indeed God answer prayers!! Amen!

Even the very UNimportant ones... He also takes care of them...

He's an amazing God!

Today is Sunday, and I was on worship duty, and had to be in church by 8am, if not earlier... I'm usually in a rush in the morning; it's just the usual self of me to time myself just right; I don't usually give myself a little more time or allowance... :( ya, that's a bad habit i know...

Today as usual, I rushed through the morning, left home exactly at 7.35am. Journey to take a taxi to church is at least 15-20 minutes on a Sunday morning. I'd usually have to wait for at least 5 minutes before there is an available cab.

But this morning I told myself as I was approaching the main road, that I was NOT going to wait for that 5 minutes!!

How?

I decided to pray...

I closed my eyes and I prayed.. Oh Jesus, please send me a cab rightaway... I can't wait or I'll be late. Send me a cab! Please, Lord...

The next moment when I was on the main road, immediately I saw an empty yellow cab on the opposite side of the road, speeding (because there was very little traffic...). Before I knew it, I noticed the cabbie looked to his right towards my direction, he saw me!!! ... he stopped his taxi!!! right there...!!!

Wow!!! It was so amazing! I mean, under normal circumstances, I would not expect someone driving at that speed to look away from the front view ... And he actually did that at the right SECOND!

Oh thank you Jesus... for answering even such a small request from me.

I used to think I should "reserve" my prayer request for "bigger" things to come. Such "small" matters - don't bother God... But I thank God a pastor once told the congregation this:-

you can ask for anything big and small from God...

nothing is too trivial for God...
and nothing is unimportant in the eyes of the Lord...

AMEN!!!

God bless you.. may you be bold enough to ask anything from the Lord.... He looks at EVERY request of ours...

Praise Him!

How Great is our God!!!

During worship that saturday, i felt the extreme peace of God in me. (Usually I'd feel a little nervous...) I sensed that God was going to do a great work in our worship today. I felt His presence so strong in our midst... even while I was preparing the worship at home on the guitar.

We began our worship with Chris Tomlin's How Great Is Our God
...

The splendor of the King
Clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice
Let all the eart rejoice

He wraps himself in light
Darkness tries to hide
It trembles at His voice
It trembles at His voice

HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD
Sing with me
HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD
All will sing
HOW GREAT
HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD

Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end
Beginning and the end
The God head three in one
Father, Spirit, Son
The Lion and the Lamb
The Lion and the Lamb

Name above all names
Worthy of all praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God!!!

Oh, yes, indeed, how great is our Lord Jesus, who had sufferred the stripes on sinners' behalf... He did not deserve it because He did not sin. We've been redeemed by the blood of Jesus when Jesus sufferred and died on the cross for us 2000 years ago..

And yet even till today, He continues His work in our lives.

He never gives up on us; even though we give up so many times.

He never forsakes us, even though we forsake Him many times.

He continues to bless us...

He has blessed me so much in my life... I can't say enough thank you Lord to express my gratitude and my gratefulness to Jesus!

Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus!

I choose to love you... I choose to obey you... I choose to follow you all my life... in all my ways...

... because you have first loved us!

How great is our God!!!

my worship experience with God today...

Today is saturday, and we usually have Cell group meeting in the afternoon from 4 to 7. I always look forward to attending cell group; coz there I find my good friends, sisters and brothers in Christ, and I always feel charged after the worship, the sharing of the Word, and the fellowship.

It was my turn to lead worship today. I thank God He's given me the desire to learn to play the guitar since I was a young girl. However I could not afford to take lesson then; and when I could afford the fee, I was too caught up with other stuff in life... Finally in year 2000, I made the decision to take up lessons, and while actively looking for a guitar instructor, a good friend and sister-in-Christ recommened her friend ... a full-time-musician churchmate of hers. I took a one year one-to-one lesson from JJ and I'd never regretted that move to pick up the guitar.

It's been such a wonderful experience to be able to play the instrument and worship God... Without it I could only sing acapella at home. With the music accompliment, it makes such a big difference! I'm really really grateful to be able to use my skill to do God's work, to lead worship, to bless others; because by so doing, I am also the blessed one! Thank you Jesus!!

As I was preparing for worship today, I prayed and asked God to take over... I knew I could not do a good job without Him. I've always felt I don't play the guitar well enough; I envy the way JJ, my guitar teacher play. He is very gifted!! But I know despite my poor skill, God will still bless me! I felt the relief feeling within me after I said the prayer; God released me of the pressure to play well. He assured me that His presence would be there to annoint the worship time, and in fact, God was already there ahead of us.

As I was picking the songs, the Lord reminded me of His power, His might and His greatness. He led me to pick the song "Great And Mighty Is He" - when I played and sang this old song, I felt strongly of the Lord greatness, and the reminder that He had indeed been a great God in my life.

Great and mighty is He

Great and mighty is He

Clothed in glory arrayed in splendor

Great and mighty is He (2x)

Let us lift His name on high

Celebrate His grace

For He has redeemed our lives

And He reigns on high

The song following this was "I Walk By Faith".
With such a wonderful God, how can we not walk by faith! He is always there before we step out of our house; before we start driving on the road; before we reach the office; before we face the day with challenges, difficulties, nasty people.... He is there already, ahead of us, laying the path for us, protecting us, blessing us, giving us favour. My favourite line is "If God is for us, tell me who can be against us?!!"

I walk by faith Each step by faith
To live by faith I put my trust in You
Every step I take Is a step of faith
No weapon formed against me Shall prosper
Every prayer I make Is a prayer of faith
If my God is for me
Tell me who can be against me!!

AMEN!!

No weapon formed against me shall prosper
If my God is for me, tell me who can be against me!!

just want to share God's promise with you...

Deuteronomy 33:26-29

26 "There is no one like the God of Jeshurun,
who rides on the heavens to help you
and on the clouds in his majesty.

27 The eternal God is your refuge,
and underneath are the everlasting arms.
He will drive out your enemy before you,
saying, 'Destroy him!'

28 So Israel will live in safety alone;
Jacob's spring is secure
in a land of grain and new wine,
where the heavens drop dew.

29 Blessed are you, O Israel!
Who is like you,
a people saved by the LORD ?
He is your shield and helper
and your glorious sword.
Your enemies will cower before you,
and you will trample down their high places."

... what have I to dread, what have I to fear, leaning on the everlasting arms? i have blessed peace with my Lord so near, leaning on the everlasting arms.

"Those words echo the truth in the final blessing of Moses: "There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides the heavens to help you, and in His excellency on the clouds. The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms" (Deuteronomy 33:26-27).

"What a gift we have in our own arms and hands—they can swing a hammer, hold a child, or help a friend. But while our strength is limited, God's boundless power on our behalf is expressed in might and gentle care. "Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save" (Isaiah 59:1). "He will gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom" (Isaiah 40:11).

"Whatever challenge or opportunity we face, there is security and peace in His everlasting arms."

—David McCasland

Nose cancer... the purpose .....

Many years later, as I looked back, I saw God's purpose for my nose cancer.

My relationship with my parents and siblings improved tremendously. My mom came to know the Lord in 1994! The family of five were closer now. We care more about each other.

God answered my prayer in His time. As I allowed Him to teach me, He was doing a work in my soul and my heart. Suddenly I felt deepdown my heart that I needed to forgive my parents and siblings. God was using my health condition to trigger that desire in me. I thought I didn't want to leave this world without reconciliation with my family. What if I just die the next day? I would have regretted.... Life can be so vulnerable, I had to do something NOW or I may not never get to do it!!

It was never easy to forgive someone. Worse when that someone is our loved ones. I prayed for God's mercy everyday.... I prayed for the Lord's love to overwhelm me, so that I could learn to love my family members too. Love - is such a powerful instrument!

I started making phone calls to them; it was not easy, but I committed to God that I would make an effort. And God honoured that. I spoke more gently and more patiently. I organised family gatherings to have meals together. I visited them more often. My parents responded gradually with the same, they were more expressive now. I could not be more thankful!

Mom received Christ in 1994 when I brought her to my cell group's Thank God It's Friday easter evangelical program. My nose cancer testimony that I shared during the session moved mom, even though she didn't understand English!!!! It was amazing how God worked within her. God must have translated my testimony in her heart. While I shared, I saw her eyes filled with tears, as though she heard and understood every word I spoke.

Mom was then suffering from her second marriage, and the Lord touched her heart that Easter. When my cell member shared with her the gospel, and asked if she was ready to receive Jesus, she nodded and wanted to commit her life and her worries to the Lord that very minute. And the Lord has blessed her abundantly in return !

God is so good!!! God is amazingly wonderful!!!

I thank the Lord Jesus for all these that had happened. I thank God for my nose cancer. I thank God it is healed now! I thank God for the burden that I had to carry... it was all for this wonderful purpose! My family is closer now and we meet up with one another for meals and outings regularly. Jesus has always been there for us... and He taught us how to love and to forgive... The Lord Jesus has brought back love in my family ....

THANK YOU JESUS! PRAISE THE LORD!

Nose cancer!

It was in Aug 1992 when i was diagnosed with Nose Cancer (NPC or nasal pharyngeal carcinoma in medical term).

I was only in my 20's... of course it came as a shock to me. Never did i suspect i would contract cancer. In the beginning it was only a little nose bleeding once in a while, but over a long period of more than 2 years. Otherwise I was such an active young girl. I was doing an hour step aerobics once a week; I swam twice a week; I was active... So when the doctor at SGHospital revealed to me that I had nose cancer at the 2nd stage, I could not believe my ears. I was startled with fear. Did the doctor make a mistake? I was wondering how it had ever happened.

I asked God, I prayed, I cried... Why me? I was only so young? What if I die?

I was totally lost...

My parents and siblings didn't seem to take it very hard when I told them about it. Well, maybe they were so shocked themselves that they didn't know how to react. Their cold response was very hurting. We were never very close anyway. There were always fights and violence between parents, towards children and among siblings at home, that was how I was brought up. There was little love and care, if there was, they were not shown much at all by action or words. Finally my parents divorced when we were all grown ups. Since then the family had been staying apart. Mom remarried, dad remained alone, sister who couldn't get along with both parents moved out to stay on her own. I moved out to stay on my own too. My brother stayed with mom.

It was a heart breaking situation... family of five but were staying at four different places! It was definitely not something pleasant to tell people about... I had always refrained from talking about my family...

And now I was down with cancer! How traumatic! Out of distress I asked God why this was happening to me. Hadn't I suffered enough? My childhood was already a mess! I lived among fights and violence almost everyday. Finally I'd grown up and while thinking I was able to be independent now, I realised I had to earn enough to meet the family financial demand. My parents would ask me for allowance, and to me, all they cared for was my money. They wouldn't call me for anything else. My heart was cold...
I thought I had only friends, no family. I was only doing my duty as a daughter, though I had always wondered if they even deserved it.

It was a whole lot of unhappiness and negativeness in my life... and now, nose cancer!

I was seeking God: Lord, what's Your purpose for my cancer? Did You not say in the Bible that in everything that happens, there is always a purpose? I am trusting You for that, Lord.

I started praying for this purpose to manifest. I wanted to know what it was. I was not willing to suffer from cancer for nothing...

I prayed everyday for God to show me... in His time

Why I set up this blog........

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing PRAISES. James 5:13

PRAISE the Lord! Praise, O servants of the Lord. Praise the name of the Lord. Blessed be the name of the Lord. From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised! The Lord is high above all nations; His glory is above the heavens! Psalms 113:1-4

I've set up this blog to record testimonials that glorify God's name and testify His goodness and abundant blessings on His people! It's my prayer that these testimonials would edify, encourage and bless Christians and Pre-believers from all over the world.

All glory to the name of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ!

The Lord bless you!
